HashPuff
- Automated file comparison program.
HashPuff is a file comparison tool. It will compare two like sets of files and generate a report about which files differ, have been added, and or deleted from the comparison directory. HashPuff accomplishes this by generating a file finger print or hash. No two files have the same finger print unless they are the same file. HashPuff can then compare file finger prints and generate a report about what files differ. The generate reports can be save and imported into other data manipulation tools such as MS Excel.
HashPuff is great for for comparing directories of digital photos, mp3, source code files, and much much more. If its a digital file then HashPuff can compare it.
